My hair is really straight and never last long with a curling iron.My hair is thick and very nice as people have told me.But i want my hair to be curly atleast for one day so i can take bunches of picz for my myspace.But will it last long??

If i braid my hair tonight will it stay curly later in the day tomorrow? If you wet your head and braid it, leave it in over night and not brush it a lot in the morning, it will be WAVY. To get curls you will need to do either pin curls and a lot of spray or rollers and a lot of spray, then you can touch them up in the AM with a curling iron.
However, tomorrow, depending on heat and humidity, you might not make it the whole day with textured hair.

But you need to make sure you've just washed your hair and put in some kind of light hold styling product like a curl creme (Matrix makes one). If you don't have that tonight, use a little bit of light hold gel. Braid your hair while it's damp.

Run some gel through your hair, Part your hair in sections and twist your hair into little buns and secure with a hair bow or bobby pins. It will dry over night, hopefully it depends on how thick your hair is and how many buns you made, you may look scary going to sleep but it makes nice wavy hair. Good Luck
