That's normal for most people when they take out their braids. Its normally poofy. and wavy. Just brush it out softly but not hardcore cause brushing it hardcore makes it like..poodle looking. XD

Spray some static-gaurd on your brush, and brush it out a little, it should stay wavy, but should also be a little less puffy.

Use smoothing serum (big sexy hair makes a great one)before you braid it and dont use anything but your fingers to comb through it once they are out.

Use a hair smoother - like Frizz-Eaze(sp?) hair serum. just put a little dab on your hands and run it through your hair as soon as you take it out of the braid. Then do the same with a little gel. Your hair will be soft, shiny, wavy - and frizz free.

Put some hair product in it before you braid it like mousse or styling gel. A defrizzing product would also help. I have a lot of body in my hair and am always trying to make it straight. I use a styling cream to smooth my hair from fuzzies %26amp; poofiness.
