How long should you let your hair stay braid?

Microbraids- 2months

meduim-6 weeks

big- 1 month

cornrows- 1 week

Though braids start to look really pretty the longer you have them ..but considering your natural hair needs to breathe and be deep conditioned ..this amount of time is just fine.

Maybe two months but definitely not three! This i the way it was explained to me: You shed about a hondred hairs a day and if you leave it up for longer than 2 months then your hair starts to dred. So I would say 2 months but it can last longer if you have a touch up.
