G-Unit.....I personally won't braid one's hair unless it's at least around 2 inches, but.......at the "african shop"....they can braid hair that is ultra short, as long as there is something to get a nice grip on, they can grip and braid it...

depends on the person doing it....my comfort length for braiding (yes i'm white %26amp;%26amp; i can braid) is like 3-5 inches
