So my hair has finally grown long enough to get braided....but im confused on one thang?

How come I see dudes around who have cornrows or vine rows or wuteva... but their rows don't have any frizz on the top of each braid... is that just because the braids are fresh so they look clean like that... or are there other things you can do too your hair to diminish that amount of frizz that pops up on braids (I had cornrows awhile back and they were frizzy but comfortable)

theyre probably fresh and/or had a lot of that Pump It Up Gold hairspray... or maybe its the braider. some people dont loop the braid as close and tight as others

There are products one can use on braids to keep them frizz-free and to stop them from itching, since scratching your scalp will make frizz work. I know there's a shea butter organic lotion that can be found in most ethnic sections that works wonders.

try wearing a satin cap a night when you go to bed and using a little product goes a long way. good luck :)
