i got thick thick hair, black hair, ive been growin it for like 5 months and im tryin to braid it. this friend of mine said that its too thick and cant braid it. what kinda of conditioner and hair relaxer stuff im supposed to use. plz help coz i need it for a date. thank you

Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner with thermasilk leave in conditioner. Blow dry it with the leave in conditioner.

Are you sure your friend can braid? My hair is super thick, too, but I can braid it.

you could try a perm for youngsters. this way it won't be completely straight (unless that's what you want) and can fro it out later. The only problem with a perm though is the fact that its not for everyone, and if it is not taken care of there may be breakage and hair loss. You may find a straightening come to be better for you..
