Well it's pretty much based on your preference: human hair or synthetic. I personally like using the human hair because the style last longer, whereas synthetic hair starts to tangle and mat after a couple weeks (this results in you having to re-do the style before it is actually needed). Tree Braids generally last up to 3 months, so if you are looking for a lasting hairstyle, I suggest using human hair. I hope this helps! :-)
